This job opportunity is with a franchisee of Taco Bell, a leading fast-food restaurant known for its Mexican-inspired menu items such as tacos, burritos, and nachos. Unlike working directly for Taco Bell Corporation or its affiliates, franchisees are independent business owners who operate individual Taco Bell locations. This means that employment terms, including wages and benefits, can vary by franchise, allowing for flexibility and unique working environments depending on the location. The franchise model fosters entrepreneurial management, while still maintaining the popular brand’s core values and standards of quality, taste, and customer service.
The franchisee seeks to hire a Food Service Team Member who will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer experiences through proficient front-line food preparation and ensuring cleanliness in the dining and surrounding areas. This position involves interacting with customers, taking and preparing orders accurately and efficiently, and maintaining an inviting restaurant environment. Employees will be expected to uphold high standards of hygiene, food quality, and service, following established safety rules and operating procedures. Through teamwork and attention to detail, the Food Service Team Member helps create an enjoyable atmosphere for customers and supports the overall smooth functioning of the restaurant.
This is generally an entry-level position with an expectation of one to three months of on-the-job training. Close supervision and support will be provided as the employee learns the skills and operational knowledge necessary for success. Key responsibilities include preparing food items to specification, operating kitchen equipment and cash registers, maintaining cleanliness of the dining room and parking lot, and working collaboratively with team members. The role requires good interpersonal communication skills, basic cash handling abilities, good hearing for interacting in busy environments, and physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive motions during shifts.
