The role of Food Service Team Leader/Cook at PAM Health is a full-time position focused on ensuring smooth food service operations within the healthcare setting. Reporting directly to the Food Service Director, the Food Service Team Leader/Cook is responsible for supervising food service activities to maintain compliance with departmental regulations, administrative policies, and standards set by accrediting agencies. The position involves assisting in the development and implementation of operational standards for food service organization and supervision. This leadership role calls for maintaining quality in patient diet food preparation and service while ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met consistently.
Ideal candidates for this position possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year of experience in preparing patient formulas and serving diet-specific meals. The Food Service Team Leader/Cook is a vital part of the healthcare team, helping to provide nutritional support that is essential for patient recovery and well-being.
