Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in foodservice industry
- Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales experience
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory with occasional overnight stays
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in foodservice industry through food brokerage, food equipment sales, or chef background
- Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales experience and project management
- Ability to travel daily within assigned territory including occasional overnight stays
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Job Duties
- Facilitate the implementation of new and existing food programs including training, demonstrations, menu and recipe development, and equipment procurement
- Provide in-field training and consultation with strategic accounts recommending foodservice growth strategies including new product information, preparation methods, merchandising, marketing, pricing, and profitability
- Maintain and update knowledge of food service products, practices, and trends
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal partners
- Conduct weekly field visits with suppliers and sales teams to identify opportunities and present Core-Mark food service programs
- Participate in regional trade shows for food related initiatives
- Manage food and beverage cutting and demonstrations on-site and off-site including scheduling and preparing sample kits
- Present in sales meetings to build product sell-through strategy and execute business action plans to support growth objectives
- Perform other related duties as assigned
