- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
- must complete sanitation course before or during first year
- ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- basic arithmetic skills

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production ensuring safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure food items are stored safely and organized
- maintain serving schedules ensuring food items meet menu specifications
- maintain sanitary environment following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate weekly inventory
- prepare orders as needed for accurate production
- supervise and evaluate employees, counsel, promote growth and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- maintain maintenance logs for equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective actions
- perform preventative maintenance checklist
- recommend equipment replacement to meet facility needs
- proficiently multitask
- perform duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- maintain knowledge of daily catering events ensuring preparation and delivery on time
- work occasional night and weekend catered events
- attend food service meetings with staff
- maintain communication with staff including office staff, emails, calls, and inter-office mail
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
