Aramark is currently hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join its passionate Food Services Team. This role is vital in overseeing food service operations, working closely with a manager to coordinate daily activities, supervise staff, and ensure efficient and safe food production in line with set policies and regulations. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising inmates and workers to ensure meals and food items are prepared according to production plans with an emphasis on safety and sanitation. Additionally, this role entails training staff in proper food service methods, assigning and coordinating tasks to promote workflow efficiency, and maintaining compliance with all food safety and personal safety standards.

Key responsibilities include the production and maintenance of work schedules, directing daily kitchen activities, managing food storage safely and efficiently, and maintaining serving schedules to meet menu specifications. The supervisor is also tasked with preserving a sanitary work environment according to health codes, conducting weekly inventory checks, preparing orders, and overseeing employee evaluations and development to foster teamwork and productivity. Equipment maintenance, food safety logging, and responding to management directives are additional duties. This position requires the flexibility to fill in for absent employees when needed and support catering events, including occasional nights and weekends. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff and administration are also essential.

Compensation for the Food Service Supervisor position starts at $17 per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition to base pay, new employees are eligible for a $300 retention bonus upon completing three continuous months of employment in good standing, underscoring Aramark’s commitment to building a dedicated and skilled workforce. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service supervision preferred
  • ability to lead and train staff effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • physical ability to perform duties including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
