Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service supervision preferred
- ability to lead and train staff effectively
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- physical ability to perform duties including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
- must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year
- must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- maintain emotional control under stress
- ability to resolve interpersonal situations

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
- direct daily activities
- maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and procedures
- ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
- maintain serving schedules in line with menu specifications
- maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
- maintain accurate inventory weekly
- prepare orders as needed
- supervise and evaluate employees and promote morale and teamwork
- maintain a safe and hazard-free environment
- train and mentor food service workers
- keep maintenance logs on equipment
- complete food safety and temperature logs with corrective action
- perform preventative maintenance checklists
- recommend equipment replacement
- multitask proficiently
- perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager
- fill in for absent employees as necessary
- manage daily catering events ensuring timely preparation and delivery
- work occasional night and weekend catering events
- attend staff meetings
- maintain communication with staff including office and inter-office
- perform cashier duties as needed
- promote good public relations
