This full-time position involves working closely alongside a manager to help coordinate and lead daily operations in food service environments. The Food Service Supervisor plays a critical leadership role by overseeing staff performance, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, organizing food preparation and serving schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to produce work schedules, prepare production packets including production sheets and recipes, direct daily activities, and supervise food production processes. You will also ensure that food items are stored safely in an organized, hazard-free environment and maintain sanitary conditions according to health codes and Aramark’s policies. Keeping accurate inventory records on a weekly basis and preparing orders to meet location needs are also vital responsibilities.
Beyond managing food safety and quality, the Food Service Supervisor will mentor and evaluate employees to promote growth, teamwork, and high morale within the department. Training food service workers and maintaining effective communication with the team and office staff are key components of this leadership role. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining logs and records related to equipment maintenance, food safety, and temperature checks, and conducting preventative maintenance as necessary.

Supporting catering events, including occasional night and weekend work, may be part of the job duties. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service preferred
- completion of or willingness to complete sanitation course within first year
- ability to read, write, and comprehend verbal and written instructions
- basic arithmetic skills
- strong communication and leadership abilities
- capacity to maintain emotional control under stressful conditions
- ability to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends
- ability to multitask effectively
- physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on food service duties

Job Duties
- Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets
