Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service or supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time
  • effective communication skills
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • availability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • completion of sanitation training
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • completion of sanitation course before or during first year
  • knowledgeable in efficient cost-effective program operation
  • ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress
  • ability to resolve interpersonal situations
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules and prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production safety and quality according to policies and procedures
  • ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain all serving schedules according to menu specifications
  • maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare orders as needed for accurate production
  • supervise and evaluate employees, promote growth and morale
  • maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
  • train and mentor food service workers
  • maintain equipment maintenance logs
  • ensure food safety and temperature logs are completed with corrective action
  • perform preventative maintenance checklist
  • recommend equipment replacements
  • multitask proficiently
  • perform duties as requested by management
  • fill in for absent employees as needed
  • manage catering event preparations and deliveries
  • work occasional night and weekend catered events
  • attend food service meetings
  • maintain communication with staff
  • perform cashier duties as needed
  • promote good public relations
