Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of prior food service management experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Serv-Safe certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and work in walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Dexterity to use kitchen equipment including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers, and rotisseries
  • Desire to learn new products and recipes
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Commitment to safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in food service management
  • Knowledge of fresh food preparation and merchandising
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic math skills and ability to use registers and scales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new recipes and products

Job Duties

  • Direct department personnel, meeting department goals and objectives, communicating directly with store management and department supervisors
  • Select, onboard, and coach all new team members
  • Schedule all team members
  • Engage with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions and active sampling, and always giving a genuine thank you
  • Take customer orders, ensure orders are completed on time and to customer satisfaction
  • Ensure department personnel follow all county, city, and company food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies
  • Order products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels and merchandising standards
