This role is for a Food Service Specialist Supervisor positioned within the Dietary Department at the Northeast LA Veterans Home. Job Requirements
- Three years of food service experience in a food service operation
- Or three years of training in food technology, food service management, or in a food service-related curriculum in a trade school or technical institute
- Or thirty-six semester hours in food and nutrition, dietetics, food service preparation, home economics, or hotel, food service, restaurant, or institutional management
- Must be able to work in the Dietary Department of the Northeast LA Veterans Home in Monroe, Louisiana
- Must be able to work physical hours with premium pay
- Must have the ability to supervise and train staff
- No civil service test score is required
Job Qualifications
- Three years of food service experience in a food service operation
- Or three years of training in food technology, food service management, or in a food service-related curriculum in a trade school or technical institute
- Or thirty-six semester hours in food and nutrition, dietetics, food service preparation, home economics, or hotel, food service, restaurant, or institutional management
- Ability to supervise and guide food service staff
