Aramark is a global leader in food services, facilities management, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries. Rooted in service and united by purpose, Aramark is committed to making a positive impact on its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company fosters an inclusive work environment that respects diversity and promotes equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. With a strong focus on professional growth and talent development, Aramark offers its employees the chance to pursue meaningful careers that fuel passion and empower advancement within an innovative and supportive workplace.

The Food Service Manager role at Aramark is a dynamic management position focused on developing and implementing effective dining solutions tailored to meet the evolving preferences and needs of customers. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing and managing dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring excellence in service quality and operational efficiency. The Food Service Manager is responsible for leading a skilled team that ensures the seamless delivery of food service, frequently in cafeteria or residential dining facility settings.

In this role, you will utilize Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to reach their fullest potential. Financial acumen is required to manage and maintain profit and loss statements, adhere to budget targets, and optimize order and inventory trends through data analysis. You will also champion productivity by driving cost control measures, meeting food and labor performance initiatives, supervising production quality, and ensuring that all team members are well-trained and equipped to uphold operational excellence.

Compliance and safety are foundational responsibilities; you will enforce policies related to health, safety, wage and hour regulations, and maintain a safe environment for all stakeholders. Collaborating closely with the Food Service Director, the Food Service Manager leads front-of-house dining operations to guarantee customer satisfaction through timely and high-quality service delivery. Aramark values adaptability, so this role may include evolving duties to meet business demands and organizational goals.

This position demands strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting, effective relationships with clients, customers, and internal teams to promote a unified food service experience. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds and the stamina to stand for extended periods.
