Job Duties
- Consistently render the best customer service to the public through a well-trained staff and product availability
- Ensure that the food service area operates in accordance with company policies related to marketing, cleanliness, cash and inventory controls, operations, and security
- Operate the food service area to build customer loyalty, increase sales, and achieve profitability
- Perform all responsibilities as specified in the Sales/Food Service Associate job description
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws related to food handling
- Work safely following all safety policies and procedures
- Complete daily and monthly paperwork requirements for compliance and asset protection
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of store equipment, products, and areas
- Enter and work in cooler environments as needed
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Practice and implement food safety and cleanliness initiatives
- Determine ideal stock levels and control food service waste
- Maintain records related to food service operations
- Provide enthusiastic customer service and assist staff in customer relations
- Monitor vendor deliveries, inventories, and security procedures
- Ensure proper ordering and stock levels for the food service area
- Stay informed on competitive marketing conditions and report to supervisor
- Assist in training food service associates and conduct performance evaluations
- Promote teamwork and leadership among employees
- Ensure the food service area and store comply with company cleanliness and quality standards
