Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • minimum 1 year food service management experience
  • minimum 2 years experience in food service industry
  • ability to enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in written or electronic form
  • able to ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • ability to perform duties inside cooler and freezer
  • ability to supervise others including assigning work, conducting evaluations, training and taking disciplinary actions
  • ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and standards
  • willingness to work a minimum of 45 hours weekly
  • physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
  • able to work in varying temperatures including coolers and freezers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • minimum 1 year food service management experience
  • minimum 2 years experience working in the food service industry
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • ability to train, motivate and develop employees
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Ensuring customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer service
  • responding to customer’s questions and resolving problems in a friendly, accurate and timely manner
  • ensuring compliance with all federal, state and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration and sanitation
  • ensuring food items are stored in a safe and hazard-free environment
  • ensuring all food items are prepared and served according to recipe cards
  • properly placing product orders for the foodservice department
  • accurately completing weekly and monthly foodservice inventories
  • training, motivating and developing foodservice employees
  • maintaining upkeep and cleaning of all foodservice equipment including ice cream machines
  • performing other functions assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager
