Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- minimum 1 year food service management experience
- minimum 2 years experience in food service industry
- ability to enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in written or electronic form
- able to ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
- ability to perform duties inside cooler and freezer
- ability to supervise others including assigning work, conducting evaluations, training and taking disciplinary actions
- ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and standards
- willingness to work a minimum of 45 hours weekly
- physically able to stand, walk, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work in varying temperatures including coolers and freezers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- minimum 1 year food service management experience
- minimum 2 years experience working in the food service industry
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills
- ability to train, motivate and develop employees
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Ensuring customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer service
- responding to customer’s questions and resolving problems in a friendly, accurate and timely manner
- ensuring compliance with all federal, state and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration and sanitation
- ensuring food items are stored in a safe and hazard-free environment
- ensuring all food items are prepared and served according to recipe cards
- properly placing product orders for the foodservice department
- accurately completing weekly and monthly foodservice inventories
- training, motivating and developing foodservice employees
- maintaining upkeep and cleaning of all foodservice equipment including ice cream machines
- performing other functions assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager
