We are currently seeking a dedicated Food Service Manager to join our team at the Richardson, Texas location. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing our culinary operations across multiple departments including prepared foods, the Chef’s Corner, bakery/pastry, and café. The Food Service Manager will lead daily operations ensuring that high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and hospitality are maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency. Managing scheduling, labor budgets, and productivity to meet company objectives is essential, alongside ensuring strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
In partnership with the Executive Chef and General Manager, the Food Service Manager will drive menu innovation and seasonal programs, as well as oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to balance cost control with quality maintenance. Handling guest feedback and resolving customer service issues promptly and professionally is a key part of this role, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and retention. The position also involves creating and tracking performance metrics for the department and reporting to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of management experience in food service hospitality or grocery/retail food operations
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
