The Food Service Manager role at LifeWorks is a dynamic leadership position focused on overseeing elevated dining operations that cater to evolving client tastes and high-quality standards. In this fast-paced environment, the Food Service Manager will lead a team responsible for delivering freshly prepared meals from a diverse menu, ensuring that customer satisfaction and operational efficiency remain paramount. Operational excellence is central to this role. The Food Service Manager will handle financial oversight including the maintenance of profit and loss statements and meeting company financial targets. Knowledge of Aramark's systems, performance metrics, and inventory trends will be critical to train the team on cost-control measures and margin improvements. This leader will bring value by optimizing productivity through efficient operations and strong profit management while adhering to food and labor initiatives. The role also involves a front-of-house leadership component for cafeteria and residential dining facilities, requiring close collaboration with the Food Service Director.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in food service
- Minimum 1 year experience in management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a management role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's service model

- Lead the front of the house dining operation in conjunction with the Food Service Director
- Plan, direct, and coordinate food service activities to deliver finished product to customers
