Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years experience in food service or retail operation
- Minimum two years supervisory experience
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and staff
- Skilled in inventory and supply record-keeping
- Knowledge of local and state health regulations
- Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate college vehicles
- Hold required food safety permits and certifications
- Must pass background and reference checks
- Must comply with college policies including sexual misconduct disclosure
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business management, or related field
- Minimum three years' experience in medium-scale food service or retail operations
- At least two years' supervisory experience including budgeting and marketing development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of health regulations, food safety, menu planning, and POS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience in collaborative and inclusive work environments
- King County Food Handler's Permit at time of hire
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within three months of hire
- Valid Washington driver’s license with two years driving experience
Job Duties
- Oversee food production including staff supervision and menu development
- Monitor and direct retail operations ensuring quality service and compliance
- Manage relationships with third-party vending partners
- Develop marketing strategies for promotions and specials
- Maintain budgets and financial reports related to food service
- Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and health code compliance
- Supervise hiring, training, and evaluation of food service staff
