  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing high-volume dining operations in a college university or contract food service setting
  • Strong leadership skills with experience training and supervising hourly employees
  • Union experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of food production basic culinary operations and service execution
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build positive client relationships
  • Collaborative mindset with flexibility to adapt in a dynamic campus environment

  • Oversee the daily operations of resident and retail dining venues ensuring quality food production safety and service standards
  • Manage and develop frontline staff to ensure a positive team culture and consistent performance
  • Control food and labor costs through effective scheduling production planning and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitation and workplace safety programs
  • Provide positive and constructive feedback to employees to reward coach correct and motivate to drive high-level employee engagement
