As a Food Service Foreman at the Exchange, you will be at the forefront of customer and team engagement, leading a dedicated team of Food Service Workers in delivering top-tier dining experiences that exceed customer expectations. This role is a part-time supervisory position located at Popeye's in the PX Food Court, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including holidays. Your primary responsibility will be managing daily operations that align with department and store sales goals while promoting a positive, customer-centric culture. You will plan, schedule, and execute workloads, ensure inventory management and quality control, and oversee personnel productivity and cost standards. A significant part of the role involves fostering accountability, providing clear expectations, conducting performance management, and training associates while upholding the highest standards of food safety and customer service.
Your leadership will ensure smooth operation during your shifts with a hands-on approach, including supervising food preparation and sales, responding effectively to customer complaints, and maintaining thorough operational and accounting records. You will also play an active role in the enforcement of Exchange policies and the compliance of safety, sanitation, and security regulations. Furthermore, this position requires you to complete ServSafe and applicable fast-food certifications within 90 days of hire and maintain awareness of relevant public laws and equal opportunity regulations.

Job Requirements

- basic computer proficiency
- fast food or custodial experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Six months of restaurant or related food service operations experience
- successful completion of NBFF training or Exchange Restaurant Operations Management Academy (ROMA)

Job Duties
- Supervises the preparation and sale of food items during an assigned shift
- receives, verifies and checks quality of food and supply items
- estimates and orders food and supplies as required
- greets each customer upon contact
- assists customers by listening to needs, offering suggestions and thanking customers for their business
- resolves customer complaints at the lowest level and informs management of barriers to meeting optimal customer experience
- prepares, maintains and processes accounting and facility operational reports
- participates in the establishment and achievement of service and sales goals
- ensures optimum stock availability by supervising or participating in stock counts and inventory updates
- maintains and controls personnel cost and productivity standards
- performs duties of subordinate associates as required by workload
- opens and closes the facility in accordance with policies and regulations
- ensures security of cash, fixed assets and inventory
- complies with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations
- initiates work orders for repair and maintenance
- supervises assigned associates including establishing work schedules, assigning and distributing work, counseling, preparing performance reviews, approving and disapproving leave slips, training associates, recommending actions
- enforces all name brand fast food and Exchange standards
- completes ServSafe and applicable fast-food certifications within 90 days of hire
- keeps abreast of and implements provisions of pertinent public laws and Equal Opportunity program directives
- performs additional duties as assigned
