We are actively seeking a Food Service Dishwasher to join our exceptional and inclusive team. In this role, you will be fundamental to our kitchen operations, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and equipment. Your work will directly support the efficiency of the kitchen and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our esteemed members and guests. You will operate dishwashing machines, hand-wash items, maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, assist kitchen staff with timely provision of clean utensils and equipment, and participate in food preparation and various kitchen duties as needed.

This position requires adherence to strict health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures, and the ability to monitor and restock cleaning supplies while promptly reporting any equipment issues. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as you will work closely with our kitchen manager, sous chef, executive chef, and fellow team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment. You will also handle member and guest complaints with professionalism and prompt service recovery, contributing to an outstanding service culture.

The role demands physical stamina to stand and perform tasks for extended periods and the ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds while working in varying temperatures. Effective communication and attentiveness are crucial for success in this role. Our work schedule includes availability for shifts based on a weekly schedule, including weekends and holidays. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role is a plus
  • strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as needed
  • keep the dishwashing area clean and organized, disposing of waste and recycling properly
  • assist kitchen staff by providing clean equipment and utensils promptly
  • engage in food preparation and various kitchen duties as assigned
  • monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting any equipment issues
  • adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures
  • participate in regular cleaning tasks around the kitchen area
  • support fellow employees, contributing to a positive team environment while ensuring exceptional service for our members and guests
  • address and resolve member and guest complaints efficiently, practicing effective service recovery
  • complete additional tasks as directed by management
