Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, utensil caddies, and serving trays
- Meet and unload delivery truck supplies
- Inspect and validate food supply and commodity deliveries
- Properly store supplies and food commodities
- Rotate stock and supplies regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of food service areas including serving lines, kitchen, dining room, storerooms, dock area, stairways, breezeway, and restrooms
- Remove dishes and garbage from dining room maintaining separate receptacles for trays, silverware, and cups
- Operate automatic dish washing machine and maintain dishwashing area cleanliness
- Empty trash and compost bins according to guidelines
- Assist in supervising part-time custodians
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Replenish disposables and hygiene dispensers
- Service and maintain job-related equipment
