- Must be able to acquire food safety certification
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physical demands includes lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and extended walking and standing

- The cooking and preparation of food items are carried out in accordance with established production guidelines and standardized recipes
- Organizes the work area with all the equipment and ingredients necessary for the task
- Goes through the process of measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items as part of ingredient preparation
- It is essential to handle a variety of utensils, such as knives, with safety in mind
- Engages with machinery including ovens, cooking appliances, slicing tools, mixing devices, and others
- Adopts various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and more to prepare a diverse selection of foods like meats and vegetables
- Establishes, embellishes, and sizes portions of food as outlined
- Adheres to food safety protocols for the correct storage of food items
- Sterilizes and cleans workspaces, equipment, and tools
- Consistently provides excellent customer service and exudes a positive demeanor in interactions with guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
- Ensures adherence to Aramark's safety policies and procedures, especially concerning the accurate implementation of food safety and sanitation measures
