Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking or food preparation experience
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to obtain or maintain food safety certification
- good communication skills
- physically able to perform job duties

Job Qualifications
- experience as a cook or in a related role
- knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods
- understanding of food safety regulations including handling, sanitation, and storage
- ability to acquire food safety certification
- basic math and counting skills
- good interpersonal communication skills
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing and walking
Job Duties
- cook and prepare food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes
- organize work area with necessary equipment and ingredients
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items
- handle utensils safely including knives
- operate ovens, cooking appliances, slicing tools, and mixers
- apply various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- portion and garnish food according to specifications
- adhere to food safety protocols for storage
- clean and sterilize workspaces and equipment
- provide excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions
- follow company safety policies and food sanitation measures
- protect company property
