Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain valid Oregon Food Handlers Certificate and OLCC Servers Permit
  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Must be able to handle a wide variety of personalities and problem situations to achieve highest possible level of customer satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Receive orders from servers and ensure they are organized and prioritized correctly for the kitchen
  • Check each dish for accuracy, presentation, portion size, and completeness before it leaves the kitchen
  • Act as the liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house to ensure smooth service flow
  • Ensure that all components of an order are prepared and plated at the same time for timely delivery
  • Assist with final touches on plates to maintain consistency and quality
  • Address issues such as incorrect orders, delays, or missing items quickly to minimize guest impact
  • Monitor and manage order tickets to keep track of pending, in-progress, and completed dishes
