Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • able to lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40lb
  • willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • previous high-volume cooking experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum 2 to 3 years related high volume cook restaurant experience preferred
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow strict food safety and sanitation protocols
  • experience in operating food and beverage equipment
  • teamwork and training skills

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases, shelves, and displays clean and well-stocked
  • operate equipment and serve products in the Food/Juice Bar area including preparing juices, coffee, specialty drinks, and smoothies
  • follow Food/Juice Bar procedures for supplies, storage, coolers, product transfers, and shrink
  • cook and prepare a variety of food products using equipment according to Daily Check List and temperature logs
  • stock and maintain sufficient levels of prepared products to assure smooth service
  • ensure all inventory and orders are done timely
  • follow and comply with all established policies and procedures
  • participate in the interview process and assist in training Food Service team members
  • communicate effectively and provide clear expectations for assignments
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation
  • maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control
  • use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
