- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred

- Ability to explain menu items and specials clearly

- Basic math skills for handling payments
Job Duties
- Radiate a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with customers
- Relay kitchen and food shortages to guests when necessary
- Explain daily and weekly specials and all menu items including preparation methods and prices
- Ensure special guest requests that the kitchen can fulfill are met
- Up-sell established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues
- Serve menu items promptly and courteously according to established service standards
- Perform pre- and post-shift side work including stocking service stations and making coffee
- Forward customer payments to cashier and promptly return change to guests
- Receive and relay customer feedback to proper management
- Respond quickly to guest requests and report serious issues to supervisors
- Assist Greeter/Cashier with greeting and seating guests as needed
- Assist bus person with clearing tables and filling glasses
- Maintain a professional image through appearance and dress
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
