We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Food Server to join our team, reporting directly to the Assistant Manager and/or General Manager. This role is integral to our restaurant operations, focusing on customer service, order accuracy, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. The Food Server acts as the face of Palms for many guests, ensuring they feel welcomed from the moment they enter and throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, taking orders precisely, delivering food and beverages efficiently, and finalizing checks accurately. Additionally, the server is required to uphold cleanliness standards by performing side work and general cleaning of their assigned stations, including tables and POS areas. The ideal candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of menu items, including wines, champagnes, liquors, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring they can confidently recommend and describe selections to enhance the dining experience. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety regulations is essential to support smooth service flow. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are necessary for effective interaction with guests, management, and kitchen staff. This position demands an ability to anticipate guest needs with urgency and professionalism, contributing to a positive and memorable atmosphere. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • five years of food and beverage experience in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • tolerance to noise, temperature, illumination, and air quality variances
  • ability to maintain prolonged standing and mobility
  • experience with POS systems
  • commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • capable of working collaboratively with management and kitchen staff
  • experience in a resort or similar hospitality setting preferred
