Job Requirements
- Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Washington State Alcohol Permit or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Ability to pass DSHS background check
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of older adults
- Ability to perform host, busser, and food server functions

Job Duties
- Attend and participate in pre-meal and post-meal responsibilities
- Assist in the set-up, service and breakdown daily
- Perform host duties including greeting and seating residents and guests
- Manage seating, take accurate orders, and ensure prompt service
- Serve meals following established service standards
- Manage resident to-go meals and delivery
- Buss and clean tables after each course
- Clean and sanitize the dining room in preparation for the next shift
- Assist in set-up, service, and breakdown of resident functions held in private dining rooms or common areas
- Respond to resident questions, needs, and concerns
- Provide comment cards for residents
- Report all compliments and complaints to Dining Services Director
- Assist dishwasher in storing clean dishes
- Follow all established safety standards and report any safety concerns
