Job Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old
- be willing to work holidays
- be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- be able to stand for long periods
- be able to read, write, and speak English
- maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff, and visitors
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- strong interpersonal skills
- willingness to learn and develop customer service skills
- ability to maintain patience and tact in all interactions
Job Duties
- Greet residents by name
- take meal orders and answer questions about the menu
- serve meals and beverages promptly
- maintain cleanliness and attractiveness of the dining room
- ensure smooth operation of dining services
- assist during special events and catered functions
- provide friendly and attentive customer service to residents and guests
