Job Requirements

- Prior food server experience
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Ability to carry and balance service tray on shoulder
- Legible handwriting
- Knowledge of menu prices and composition of food and beverage menu items
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- Present a well-groomed appearance
- Sense of urgency and ability to react to changing business demands
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate highest level of integrity
- Ability to maneuver around the restaurant during entire shift
- Ability to access kitchen area to pick up food orders
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull 300 pounds on a cart or dolly
- Tolerance for high temperatures in kitchen area
- Tolerance for areas containing secondary smoke
- Ability to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations
- Ability to respond to visual and aural cues
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet and make welcome each guest seated in assigned station within 2 minutes of seating
- Take and repeat food and beverage orders to ensure accuracy
- Operate POS system proficiently and handle cash transactions
- Maintain expected service levels and internal controls during operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and employees
- Prioritize service to tier-leveled players as appropriate
- Manage high-pressure and difficult situations professionally
- Ensure tables are clear, set up, and presentable prior to seating
- Present and up-sell specials, appetizers, beverages, and desserts
- Engage guests in conversation to enhance dining experience
- Enter food and beverage orders accurately in POS system
- Deliver food to guests within three minutes of order completion
- Return to tables to check guest satisfaction and resolve issues
- Present check for payment, thank guests, and invite them back
- Maintain cleanliness standards at tables and work stations
- Assist bus persons with bussing, cleaning, and setting tables
- Work closely with culinary team and management to ensure quality
- Uphold dining room ambiance and atmosphere standards
- Handle guest concerns and questions professionally
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
