Job Requirements

  • must be at least 19 years of age
  • must be able to carry and balance service tray on shoulder
  • must have legible handwriting
  • must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • prior food server experience preferred
  • knowledge of menu prices and food and beverage composition

Job Duties

  • maintains current and accurate information regarding menu and preparation and welcomes each guest seated in assigned station within 2 minutes
  • takes initial food and beverage orders accurately and repeats orders back for confirmation
  • proficiently operates POS systems and manages cash handling with accuracy
  • maintains expected service levels and internal controls during daily operations and system outages
  • communicates clearly, professionally, and warmly with guests and team members
  • differentiates guest service priority based on tier level players
  • handles high-pressure and difficult situations professionally
  • ensures tables are clear, well-set, and presentable for guests
  • displays a positive attitude throughout the dining experience
  • presents and up-sells specials and menu items using enticing descriptions
  • engages guests in conversation to enhance dining experience
  • suggests items based on guest preferences and up-sells appetizers, beverages, and desserts
  • correctly enters orders into POS for accurate food preparation
  • delivers food promptly within three minutes of preparation
  • checks back with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • resolves service issues promptly following the service recovery protocol
  • presents check accurately, thanks guests, invites them back, and facilitates their return to play
  • maintains cleanliness and organization at tables and workstations
  • adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies
  • assists in bussing, cleaning, and setting tables as needed
  • collaborates with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure Dining Room quality
  • upholds the standard dining room ambiance and atmosphere
  • manages guest concerns and questions
