The Food Server position at Aramark plays a vital role in delivering high-quality meal experiences aligned with the company’s standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. This role supports kitchen operations by preparing food and meals according to established menus, ensuring proper food storage and handling, and assisting in maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. The Food Server is responsible for overseeing cash receipts, updating meal records, and compiling daily reports to maintain accurate documentation of transactions and food distribution. Attention to detail is essential in verifying that all meal components are complete and that meals are served at appropriate times following the set schedules and policies. Additionally, the Food Server must monitor food temperatures and sanitation procedures to comply with food safety legislation and contribute to a clean and organized kitchen workspace. This role may involve physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking, and requires adherence to uniform policies and wearing personal protective equipment when necessary. Successful candidates will have food service certification and demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality in fast-paced environments. A high school diploma or equivalent certification is preferred. Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • check for the presence of all necessary meal components
  • store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • distribute meals to diners according to prescribed schedules and policies
  • operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
  • enhance meals with garnishes to elevate customer satisfaction
  • assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • comply with food safety legislation including sanitation, food handling, and storage
  • adhere to uniform policy requirements
  • liaise daily with the manager to coordinate the menu
  • monitor food temperatures for safety
  • keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
  • complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
  • maintain cleanliness of garbage disposal sites and kitchen floors
  • perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in various kitchen zones
