The Food Server position at Bass Road Sports and Entertainment involves delivering high-quality, attentive service to guests in premium seating areas, suites, clubs, and special event spaces within the stadium. This role is pivotal during Fort Wayne FC home matches, which predominantly take place on Saturday evenings from May through October, with additional event dates throughout the year. The Food Server is expected to provide accurate order taking, timely delivery of food and beverages, and maintain elevated service standards that enhance the overall guest experience. Working under the direction of Premium Supervisors and Food & Beverage Managers, servers follow clear guidelines to ensure smooth coordination with kitchen and bar teams.

The role requires a deep knowledge of the menu, ensuring the presentation quality of food and beverages, and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. Servers are tasked with greeting guests warmly, presenting menus, and offering recommendations tailored to guest preferences. Beyond taking and delivering orders accurately, the position demands monitoring guest satisfaction throughout the event, anticipating needs, and promptly addressing any concerns or escalating issues as required. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas in compliance with sanitation standards is essential, as is adherence to all food safety, allergen awareness, and alcohol compliance procedures.

Additionally, Food Servers assist in the setup and breakdown of service stations, ensuring that all supplies are well-stocked and service areas are reset efficiently during and after events. Physical demands include standing and walking for prolonged periods, carrying trays, lifting up to 25 pounds, and navigating stairs within premium seating areas. The role also requires wearing designated event attire, which includes a provided event shirt paired with black pants or long shorts based on the approved attire list.
