Job Requirements

  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with food preparation, bussing, host/host duties, or hospitality roles enhances your candidacy
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout service
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and setting up dining spaces to ensure a clean and inviting environment
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and resolve any guest concerns promptly
