Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a food service role preferred
Familiarity with POS systems
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Basic math skills for cash handling
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
Experience with food preparation, bussing, host/host duties, or hospitality roles enhances your candidacy
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards throughout service
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and setting up dining spaces to ensure a clean and inviting environment
Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and resolve any guest concerns promptly
