This 52-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care center offers a blend of medical expertise and personal care to ensure the highest quality of life for its residents. Joining Port Warwick Enhanced Senior Living as a Food Server offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the team that supports residents' nutritional and daily living needs. This full-time role, with a competitive all-inclusive hourly wage of 15 dollars and additional benefits such as a 3 per hour pay increase for certain responsibilities, is focused on providing excellent meal service alongside maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. The Food Server will assist in kitchen meal preparation and service while adhering to nutritional standards and internal regulations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service or preparation preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Prior work experience with food preparation a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served

Job Duties

  • Assist in the kitchen with meal preparation and meal service to residents
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and eating areas
  • Follow direction regarding compliance with nutritional standards, internal procedures and regulations
  • Work collaboratively as a team player eager to help out wherever necessary
  • Ensure a safe and pleasant dining environment for residents
