Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food service certification
  • Previous experience in a food service role is advantageous
  • Ability to understand and follow food safety standards
  • Good physical stamina
  • Ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
  • Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
  • Operate and maintain food preparation tools safely
  • Ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
  • Enhance visual appeal of meals by incorporating garnishes
  • Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • Comply with food safety legislation including sanitation and handling practices
  • Adhere to uniform policy requirements
  • Coordinate daily menu activities with the manager
  • Monitor food temperatures for safety
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Regularly sanitize workspaces such as steam tables and tools
  • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
  • Manage waste and keep garbage collection areas orderly
  • Complete supplementary tasks as needed including assisting in other kitchen zones
