- physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality, and effective communication
- ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly between serving, bussing, and assisting guests
- familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards to ensure quality and compliance
- experience with food preparation tasks and basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling
- knowledge of reservation management tools like OpenTable for guest seating coordination
- ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales while enhancing the guest experience
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols
- upsell menu items by highlighting specials and recommended pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- handle cash transactions accurately including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations
