The Server position at Red Mile plays a crucial role in upholding our high standards of customer service and ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional dining assistance. The server is responsible for delivering excellent service efficiently, from taking orders to handling payments, all while maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment. This role is key to enhancing the guest experience by combining attentiveness, accuracy, and a friendly demeanor. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Bilingual skills in Spanish are considered a plus, highlighting our commitment to serving a diverse guest base. This is a flexible role requiring availability on weekends, holidays, and variable shifts aligned with business needs. Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods is necessary. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy creating a team environment
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as flexible shifts and hours due to business needs
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand and walk

Job Duties

  • Delivers prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers in accordance with Red Mile standards
  • Performs necessary tasks to service customers, including taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining guests dining area in a clean and neat manner
  • Receives payment from food and beverage customers in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Utilizes POS system, quotes accurate pricing and gives correct change, accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedures
  • Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance tasks such as side work, opening and closing duties as necessary
  • Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures
