Join the team at Cypress Lakes Village, a vibrant property managed by Cove Communities, as a Food & Beverage Server. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Whether part-time or full-time, as a Food & Beverage Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring a memorable dining experience for guests by taking and serving food orders with accuracy and professionalism while maintaining a clean and organized work station. Your responsibilities will also include handling payments efficiently, coordinating special dietary requests with kitchen staff, and fostering friendly relationships with regular patrons.

The role demands a strong customer-focused approach, dependability, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. ServSafe certification is preferred, or candidates should be willing to obtain it, emphasizing the importance of food safety and hygiene. As a key ambassador for Cove Communities and Creekfire, you will represent the company by consistently choosing a positive attitude and upholding the culture of service, hospitality, and accountability. In this role, you will need to be comfortable communicating effectively with guests and team members at all levels and be able to work efficiently under high-pressure conditions. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to fifty pounds regularly and stand for extended periods. You will be working closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery, coordinating orders through a POS system, and managing cash handling procedures including credit card and gift card transactions. Completing daily revenue reconciliations, server tip reports, and shift checklists will be part of your routine duties.

Job Duties

  • Responsibilities include taking and serving food orders, maintaining cleanliness, handling payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction

  • Greets all guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provides a high level of service when assisting customers in ordering and delivering food orders according to established protocols
  • Coordinates and communicates any special dietary requirement of guests to the kitchen
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station
  • Develops and maintain friendly relationship with regular patrons of the restaurant
  • Coordinates with kitchen staff and customers and ensure timely delivery of all services
  • Works to meet revenue goals by establishing and maintaining a complete course of order to customers including salad, drinks and main course
  • Must be efficient in cash handling procedures, and maintain a working knowledge of the POS system and its functions including but not limited to credit card and gift card transactions
  • Makes sure that all daily revenue and server tip reports are reconciled and given to accounting at the end of every day
  • Ensures that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift
  • All other duties as assigned
