Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
  • Ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask during busy hours
  • Must be able to work in person at the restaurant location

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction through proactive service
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations sanitation practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
  • Prior host/hostess experience or serving roles that highlight guest relations skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials
  • Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems ensuring all special requests are noted clearly
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a lively positive attitude that enhances guest experiences
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities utilizing OpenTable or other reservation tools when applicable
  • Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards including proper food preparation and bussing
  • Assist with host/hostess duties by managing reservations seating arrangements and guest flow during busy hours
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed ensuring timely delivery of orders
