As a Food Server at XRG, the role is pivotal in maintaining the company’s hospitality standards. Food Servers are responsible for welcoming guests warmly, providing detailed and accurate knowledge about menu items, and ensuring orders are delivered correctly and promptly. The role demands excellent communication and guest service skills, as well as the ability to handle guest concerns and complaints with a positive attitude and professionalism. Food Servers also collaborate with the team to maintain safety, sanitation, and operational standards including timely stock replenishment and cleanliness.

In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, Food Servers work indoors and outdoors, adapting to varying conditions such as noise, temperature, and crowded settings. The role requires physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry items, sometimes up to 50 pounds. Workers must be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining a keen attention to detail and a friendly demeanor toward guests and team members alike.

This full-service restaurant position demands candidates have at least two years of related experience and familiarity with POS systems, safe alcohol service, and food safety regulations. A high school diploma or equivalent and eligibility to work in the U.S. are also necessary. XRG values strong English communication skills for effective interaction with guests and co-workers. Job Duties

  • Provide guests with accurate and thorough information regarding menu items, pricing, and allergen information
  • Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
  • Take and enter orders into POS system promptly and accurately
  • Ensure all the food and drinks are served immediately and according to specifications
  • Ensure that all the necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
  • Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to tables, chairs, bar stools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment
  • Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
