Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Less than high school education or up to 1-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction
  • Prepare tables by laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments, and performing all other preparation tasks
  • Stay updated on menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations while monitoring kitchen inventory
  • Direct guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist with drink selection, inform guests of food preparation details, and communicate guest needs to kitchen staff
  • Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guest needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed
  • Fill in for absent staff as necessary
  • Assist with special events as required
  • Greet all guests warmly with appropriate greetings
  • Follow highest standards of cleanliness and comply with all health codes and policies
  • Perform duties safely and wear required safety equipment
  • Report any safety hazards or accidents
  • Adhere to safety standards and fire and disaster plans
  • Attend all mandatory trainings and comply with all policies and procedures
