Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an analytical lab or food manufacturing quality environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn internal systems
  • Availability to work 3rd shift and flex hours as needed

Job Duties

  • Conduct analytical testing, physical audits, verifications, and administrative duties to support FSQ programs
  • Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and sanitation compliance through daily and monthly audits
  • Verify HACCP program records and support plant activities related to Food Safety and Regulatory Assessments (FSRA)
  • Collaborate with operations and Quality teams on issue resolution, decision making, and risk assessments
  • Manage product hold orders and support the plant's sensory evaluation program
  • Provide training on food safety, sanitation, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
  • Serve as the primary back-up to the flour lab technician to ensure flour quality and specification compliance
