The Food Runner/Service Assistant role at Sofitel Philadelphia is a full-time position designed for individuals passionate about hospitality and delivering seamless dining experiences. This role is critical as it shapes guests’ first and lasting impressions through attentive service and care. The Food Runner/Service Assistant supports the Food & Beverage team by ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food orders, maintaining high standards of food presentation, and addressing guest needs proactively. This position requires collaboration with bartenders, servers, hosts, and managers to create a harmonious and effective team environment. The role also involves independent problem-solving skills to address any guest issues promptly and professionally.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in food & beverage or hospitality preferred
  • ability to work full-time and flexible hours including evenings and weekends

  • Engage with guests to create a memorable in room/dining experience
