The Food Runner position at Marcus Theatres is a vital role within the Service Team, centred on delivering excellent guest dining experiences. This role involves supporting the front-of-house staff and enhancing the overall quality of service in the food and beverage areas of the theatre. As a Food Runner, you will act as a crucial communication link between management, kitchen staff, servers, and guests, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders during busy hours. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively
- availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift moderate weight
- prior experience in food service preferred
- willingness to learn and adapt

Job Duties
- Set up all garnishes for dishes, assemble trays and stock bread
- polish silverware
- responsible for set-up and break-down of station at the beginning and end of shift
- assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction
- communicate with servers and kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction
- serve food to tables if needed
- assist with bussing duties if needed
- remove all dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas
- maintain standard of plate presentation
- maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
- perform other duties as assigned
