The role of a Food Expeditor at Caesars Entertainment plays a vital role in the operation of the hospitality outlets. This position is primarily responsible for preparing and checking plate presentation, ensuring food accuracy, and monitoring ticket times for all outgoing orders. The Food Expeditor directly interacts with guests and requires a solid understanding of all menu items to communicate effectively. Additionally, the role involves managing the salad bar needs and addressing other food-related issues in collaboration with the kitchen team. The employee is also tasked with opening and closing side duties, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of their assigned station and equipment, which guarantees a smooth and efficient dining experience for all guests.
This role demands physical dexterity, agility, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a front-of-house hospitality setting and the ability to maneuver and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. They must also demonstrate excellent communication skills, be guest-focused, and exhibit teamwork aligned with Caesars Entertainment’s values of providing warm, family-style service. As a Food Expeditor, your responsibilities will extend beyond just organizing and verifying food orders. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a tray for a distance of up to fifty yards
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume work environment
- Must have the physical dexterity to carry a tray
- Must be able to maneuver in tight, confined areas
- Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift continuously
- Must be able to pre-bus, clear, and clean tables without a busser
- Must be able to work in an environment with excessive noise, secondhand smoke, variable temperatures, and fluctuating business levels
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in front of house hospitality
- Knowledge of all menu items
- Strong communication skills
