Currently, Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Food Runner to join the esteemed restaurant team at Maverick's Roadhouse. This role presents an incredible opportunity to be part of a vibrant, fast-paced dining environment where teamwork and guest experience are paramount. The Food Runner plays a vital role in delivering meals promptly and ensuring that guests enjoy seamless, top-notch service. Working closely with Food Servers, the Food Runner helps maintain the smooth flow of service, acting as a crucial link between the kitchen and dining room. Key aspects of this position include efficient meal delivery, strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests, and the physical ability to manage moderate lifting and other dynamic responsibilities. The position requires someone with refined verbal and written communication skills, a strong desire to exceed guest expectations, and the ability to perform well under pressure in a busy restaurant setting. Open availability for afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is a must to accommodate the resort's operational needs. Additionally, applicants must have a valid Food Handler's certification and be at least 16 years old.
