Job Description
Chili's is a renowned casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. Known across the United States and beyond, Chili's has established a strong reputation for offering a unique dining experience centered around bold flavors, large portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Famous for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's has become a destination for guests looking for hearty American fare paired with exceptional hospitality. Over the decades, Chili's has built a legacy grounded in genuine service, hospitality, and community involvement, striving to deliver the best possible experience to every guest, every day.
The Food Runner role at Chili's is a dynamic and integral position within the restaurant team. Food Runners ensure that guests enjoy seamless service from the kitchen to their tables, contributing greatly to overall guest satisfaction. As a Food Runner, you are not just passing dishes; you are enhancing the dining experience by delivering food promptly, engaging warmly with guests, and supporting servers and other team members to create an efficient and friendly environment. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about food, beverages, and excellent service who believes that great food means little without hospitality.
Chili's encourages growth from within, meaning that many Food Runners quickly transition to servers and other positions, making this an excellent opportunity for career advancement in the hospitality industry. The position offers flexible part-time or full-time schedules, accommodating the diverse needs of its team members. Fast hiring processes and a collaborative team culture set Chili's apart as an employer. The restaurant team thrives on a fun, positive energy that helps everyone connect with guests and coworkers alike, contributing to a rewarding and engaging workplace.
As a Food Runner at Chili's, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean and inviting dining area, pre-bussing tables efficiently, and ensuring that guests’ needs are met promptly. This role demands quick thinking and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, often requiring you to bounce fluidly between tasks. You will bring a friendly attitude that resonates with the Chili's spirit, making both guests and fellow team members feel valued and appreciated. The role also requires weekend, weekday, and holiday availability to best support the restaurant’s operations during peak times.
If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working with people, and want to build a career in a company that values its team members, the Food Runner position at Chili's offers both the experience and opportunities to grow. Joining Chili's means becoming part of a brand with a notable history and a forward-looking commitment to excellence in dining and workplace culture.
