Job Description
Geronimo Hospitality Group is a renowned hospitality company that operates an impressive collection of award-winning boutique hotels, restaurants, and clubs. Founded on the idea that the status quo is not acceptable, Geronimo Hospitality Group prides itself on pushing boundaries, challenging traditional norms, and delivering exceptional experiences that go beyond ordinary expectations. Their venues are carefully curated destinations that blend unique atmospheres with impeccable service, creating memorable moments for both guests and staff alike. With a culture built on creativity, collaboration, and a competitive spirit, Geronimo Hospitality Group fosters a dynamic environment where employees are encouraged to innovate and grow within their careers.
The Food Runner role at Geronimo Hospitality Group is an exciting opportunity to be part of this vibrant team, especially within their boutique hotels like Hotel Renegade, located in Boise. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where teamwork and customer service are paramount. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guests have a seamless dining experience by coordinating closely with the waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen team. Your responsibilities will include delivering food to the correct tables, assisting bartenders with their needs such as restocking ice and glassware, clearing tables efficiently, and working hand-in-hand with dishwashers to maintain a steady supply of clean plates and utensils.
This role is not just about serving food; it’s about creating what Geronimo Hospitality Group calls "Geronimoments"—those special guest experiences that define the company’s dedication to excellence. Employees in this position are encouraged to be proactive communicators, attentive observers, and dedicated team members who contribute to the smooth operation of the dining service area. You will be an essential link connecting the kitchen, bartending, and serving teams, ensuring that each guest’s needs are met promptly and professionally. The environment is collaborative and supportive yet demands a competitive edge and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that reflects their commitment to rewarding hard work and dedication. Benefits include employee discounts, paid time off, training and development opportunities, 401K plans, medical benefits, 24/7 online care, and pet insurance, among others. The company values employees who are ready to build their own futures and make meaningful contributions to the team. They emphasize equal employment opportunities and foster an inclusive culture where diversity is respected and celebrated.
If you have a passion for hospitality and want to work for a company that truly stands out in the industry by creating unique and welcoming environments, the Food Runner position at Geronimo Hospitality Group offers a chance to step into the big leagues. This role requires energy, dedication, and a friendly, service-oriented attitude. In return, you will be part of a team that values your voice, your input, and your hard work, allowing you to grow professionally while contributing to extraordinary guest experiences.
