This position is responsible for collaborating closely with the kitchen's expo team to efficiently and promptly deliver food to tables and guest rooms, maintaining the visual appeal and temperature integrity of each dish.

The Food Runner must uphold the resort’s reputation for outstanding service by engaging warmly and courteously with guests, anticipating their needs, and responding swiftly to any requests or concerns. This role requires flexibility, as the hospitality business demands adaptability with varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Job Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Ability to stand for extended periods and work indoors or outdoors
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to remain pleasant, courteous, and cooperative
Physically able to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions precisely
Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Flexibility with working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

High school diploma
Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Valid Food Handler’s card
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Duties

Deliver food promptly and accurately by table and seat number
Work closely with expo and kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo area
Pre-bus tables and assist servers in table preparation
Restock necessary items in the expo fridge and service areas
Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding guest needs and food orders
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests and complaints courteously
