The role of Food Runner/Expo at Din Tai Fung North America is pivotal in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position involves efficiently running food to guests at their tables, packing takeout orders with care, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at both the Expo and Takeout Packing Stations in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Employees in this role act as a vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery to patrons, which significantly impacts customer satisfaction. The role demands energetic and motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about providing excellent service in a dynamic environment. Candidates can expect to participate in a structured interview process beginning with a required one-way video interview. Compensation for this role is competitive, starting at $21.65 per hour plus estimated tips ranging between $11.50 and $12.75 per hour. This pay structure reflects various factors including prior experience and relevant expertise.
