We are currently seeking friendly and attentive Food Runners and Hosts to join our team on a part-time, seasonal basis. This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional dining experience and acts as the essential link between our customers and kitchen staff. The Food Runner and Host will warmly greet guests, manage seating arrangements, take and relay food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas. Additionally, this position supports servers by timely delivering food, ensuring that presentation standards meet our high expectations, and handling guest inquiries with courtesy and professionalism. Candidates with previous experience in hospitality or food service environments who possess strong communication skills, an approachable attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a bustling environment will thrive in this position. Job Duties
- We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food Runner and Hosts to join our dynamic restaurant team
- This role is vital in ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing excellent guest services, managing table assignments, and supporting the kitchen staff with timely food delivery
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlist or reservations efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take and relay food orders accurately to the kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Assist servers in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide information about menu items or restaurant policies
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold hospitality standards at all times
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage phone etiquette for reservations, inquiries, or takeout orders when needed
